| KI Building Interior



| KI builing(The Chunghi & Byiung Jun Park KAIST Institute Building) was established for researchers

to secure physicals proximity to be able to exchange ideas and opinions and cooperate in research activities.


 

| Unique floor pattern which resembles a big tree running across the entire floor. 

  This intuitive symbolization of KI's prospects and evolutionary growth. 


 

| Repeating pattern of blue LED lighting symbolizes a strong motive towards the advancement and promising future orientation of KI.  



 

| A Stepped platform designed of sub-tour events around central atrium space, finished with wood and volcanic stone and frosted glass on each side. 

  Front Lounge composed of three triangular wooden benches was born as an impressive public landscape place associated with the atrium space. 

  Unicoloured Floor, Wall&Ceiling for the Conference rooms represent persistent dual code of expressing unconventional design and the elegance.  

  Signage items to guide circulations to the utilities such as elevators,stairs and toilets on each floor. Each signage cube has a highly simplified icon. 

  Guest offices, faculty lounge and conference room with the elegant tones of carpet and wallpaper, colorful sofa set, crimson wallpaper. 


 

| Six prism shaped are built with primary colored glasses, painted wood and tempered glasses for transparent wall to form unique  multi-layered spaces. 

  Cluster of 6 unique yet freely arranged masses combined with artificial planting  generate a doubled dramatic effect of visual experience. 

  This semi-public space cluster inside of the KI building serves a s a 'focal point' with its unique attractive appearance,
